Kaweco Brass Sport Rollerball

BRASS SPORT series

The Kaweco Sport, created in 1911, is characterised by its compact size of just 10.5 cm when closed. This meant that it fitted into any trouser pocket and only grew to its normal size when the cap was attached. Small in the trousers, big in the hand" was the catchy advertising slogan for the model series at the time, which is still a firm favourite in the range today. The striking, octagonal product design not only ensures visual and tactile distinctiveness, but also, very practically, that the pen does not roll off the table.

The models in the Brass Sport series are produced and assembled in Germany and are genuine quality products. Models from this handy series are perfect as pocket pens that are always at hand when travelling. In addition to the fountain pen, the series is also available as a gel roller, biros, mechanical pencil and clutch pencil. Due to the high weight of the brass models, the writing instruments press lightly onto the paper on their own, giving a great writing experience. The coarse brass is complemented by fine, silver elements such as the logo cap, while the brass develops a natural, individual patina over time.

Rollerball Pen / Gel Roller

The invention of the rollerball pen originated in Japan. The smart fusion of fountain pen and biros enables easy, gliding writing. The ink flows uninterruptedly from the high-quality gel refill via the ceramic ball onto the paper surface. The noticeably soft writing feel is a special feature. The standardised refill with 0.7 mm line width can be replaced in no time at all.

KAWECO

KAWECO emerged from the Heidelberg pen factory Koch, Weber & Co (KAWECO), which was founded in 1883. KAWECO was a pioneer in many areas of writing instruments and still manufactures in Germany today. Many model series are already classics in their own right and are characterised by their unique, functional design.
