Its features are a curved blade that merges into an equally curved handle that gives the hand support when making a pulling cut. The principle is thousands of years old and today it may be adapted to special requirements, but it cannot be improved. The heart of a SERPETTE is its curved blade, which, unlike other knives, is flat forged on one side and is only beveled on the opposite side.
