A special feature of the ZEHA Marathon, a track and field running shoe from the 1980's,, is the precision construction of the outsole, composed of a intermediate layer of light EVA-material sewn together with a leather innensole inside the calf's leather inner lining. This composition improves stability, facilitating runnability. The top edge of the shoe is upholstered like in the Olympia's, protecting the Achilles tendon. The perforation of the outer leather of the vamp enhances air circulation around the foot. Handmade in Portugal.
