The Special series is for people who use the pen as a reliable working tool.
Distinctive for the series is the long, slim 10mm body with an octagonal shape. The design combines a simplicity with high functionality and thus also lies well in the hand. The high-quality aluminum or brass gives the SPEZIAL writing instruments a special feel. The shape, as well as the robust and reliable mechanisms, have already proven themselves a million times over. The functional KAWECO Special mechanical pencil is available in the thicknesses 0.5 to 2.0mm.

PENCILS

Who would Kaweco be if they only produced ink-based writing instruments in the pencil city of Nuremberg? Since the beginning of the 20th century, Kaweco has been developing various types of mechanical graphite lead pencils with high-quality mechanics. The indispensable classic is available as a clutch pencil with a sharpener in the pusher and the mechanical pencil with an eraser. Different applications require suitable leads. That is why the range includes various hardnesses, colors and line widths. 100% graphite, all-purpose pencils on glass and stone and also highlighter leads. Some expertise for all those who missed the show with the mouse: The mixing ratio between graphite and clay is crucial for the hardness. So the higher the graphite content, the softer the lead.

KAWECO emerged from the Heidelberger Federhalter Fabrik Koch, Weber & Co. (KAWECO), which was founded in 1883. KAWECO did pioneering work in many areas of writing instruments and still manufactures in Germany today. Many model series are already classics in their own right and shine with their independent, functional design.
