Fishermen Parka

The medium-length down parka from the high-class forge by Ceccarelli is the ideal winter parka even for cold, wet winter days. A certified 90/10 goose down filling with a robust 800 fill power is used as insulation. To keep the down dry, the Fisherman Parka is equipped with a permanently water-repellent, impregnated Dry Finish outer fabric, which makes it suitable for cold, dirty weather. The Fisherman Parka has the classic pocket division with the two high hand warmer pockets and the two lower, spacious cargo pockets. All pockets can be closed with a flap with a push button and are lined with a skin-friendly inner lining. On the back there is a backpack-like compartment ideal for a flat hiking map, cloth, etc. It is complemented by a low-set game pocket that is accessible from both sides. This useful bag originally comes from the hunting sector, but is also ideal here for a rain-soaked hat, gloves or scarf thanks to the waterproof and washable lining. With great attention to detail, all snaps are underlaid with leather plates. All leather applications are made from vegetable-tanned natural leather and offer a contrast to the wax shade. The robust two-way zipper from YKK is attached on both sides with a moleskin tape to protect the lining material. The hood is also reinforced in the front area with the skin-friendly, soft moleskin. With the traditional drawstring in the waist area, the parka can be adjusted in width, which also gives it the classic parka look.

Waxed cotton

Manifattura Ceccarelli has been processing a proven 10oz poplin quality made of pure 100% cotton for many years. The twisted yarn is extremely wear-resistant and becomes even more hard-wearing as it grows, as well as being naturally water-repellent. The wax is not simply applied to the cloth, but the cloth is pulled through an immersion bath of molten paraffin so that the wax penetrates and seals the fiber permanently.
