LEE 101 Rider DRY
101 Rider
The Rider is the first "slim fit jeans" introduced by Lee in 1950 and popularized shortly afterwards by James Dean in "East of Eden". Unlike many other vintage models, this model has a zipper, which was the special feature of these trousers at the time. The excellent fit makes the model so popular and successful because it offers a good balance between a contemporary, slim silhouette and a fit suitable for everyday wear. The Lee Denim Blue Selvage RAW denim used is sanforized, which prevents or greatly minimizes shrinkage. Nevertheless, a shrinkage of 2 cm should be expected during the first few washes, but this is already taken into account as an allowance at the factory. The RAW denim used by Lee for this series develops a particularly attractive "fade out" patina.
