Pike Brothers 1962 OG-107 Shirt olive
The 1962 OG-107 Army Shirt
The shirt is essentially based on the OG-107 Army shirt introduced in 1952, which has been continually modified over the years. It was the simple standard shirt for the GI's and, as usual for this purpose, came in only a few different sizes. Therefore, the original shirt was cut quite square, which then made it suitable for all statures. The OG-107 uniform was part of the regular field uniform of the American armed forces from 1952 to 1963. Even Elvis Presley wore the OG-107 during his time in the service. It was introduced in 1952 and remained with some minor changes until the early 1980s. The OG-107 proved itself in the field especially because of its ruggedness and comfortable fit. The loose fit also makes it the ideal overshirt.
